Posture & Rehabilitation

Having great posture & alignment is a huge corner stone of keeping mobile & active, especially
later in life or if you have suffered an from an accident. Good posture & technique strengthens
your muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments & also contributes to a healthier immune system. During
postural sessions, you will learn how to attain & sustain the optimum positions for standing,
sitting, getting up from the floor, etc without risking further injury, damage or pain to your body.

Poor posture can create numerous problems, such as lower back pain, neck injuries or simply a
loss of mobility in general day to day tasks. You may not notice that getting up from the floor or
chair is more difficult than it used to be, as your body will have compensated different movements
to aid you. However, over time, sitting in the office chair, too much computer time, long distance
driving, etc will take their toll on your stance.

To avoid further aches & pains (which do not be fooled as to thinking it is just a part of getting
older) find out how I can help restore you & your body to a better balance & alignment. On
average, a person with good posture can add up to .5 – 4cm of height to their stance & slim down
the waistline by up to 7.5cm!
